La Craie Paint Class that’s “FUN”

We had a “Intro to La Craie” Class on Sunday in our store, Living on the Bliss.  Our students made a Vintage Frame that holds a ChalkBoard.  Let us share it with you…

We are so blessed to have a business that allows us an opportunity to have this much FUN!!!!!

We held the class in our main room of our store.

We think we have remembered everything!  Paint brushes, paint, wax, trim boards, sand blocks, paper towels, paper plates, frames, rags, baby wipes, (no babies here, just messy people).  The set up is ready!

Here comes our first student, apron in hand!

Cassie gets everyone started, they picked their color and started painting their trim piece.

Everyone is having so much fun getting to know each other.

We took a break and got a little snack.  We have a quaint little bakery next door to us called Acorn Bakery,  Genevieve Walker is the owner and her goodies are amazing, check out her site here.  Come by her bakery her pies are so delish.  They’re great for the upcoming holidays, Cassie loves the pumpkin pie!!

Acorn Bakery makes really yummy pecan bars and even more yummy lemon bars.

We are now moving on to the waxing step.  Everyone learns how to use our beautiful waxes.

We supply everyone in our classes with a vintage frame to paint.  They get to pick out which one they want to paint.

Our students painted their frames and are having so much fun!

Everyone finished their frames, they are beautiful and we all had so much FUN!

 Our students painted their own board to create a “ChalkBoard” to go into their frame.
